Found myself a potential hill climb track (in my head hypothetical of course). I must hoon it.
Moved to a new city and took a new route to work today to see if it may miss the commuters. Took a new road down and then to the other side of town which was quite steep and had some fun turns so I vowed I had to go home this same way to see what its like in the light. It was not a long road but it had a few good turns and about ~150m of vertical elevation change.
You Oppo's have a favourite local hill climb "track" you have thought of?
2.38km(~1.5 miles) and about 150m(~500 feet)
The turns are tighter than my length calculation show. Plus uphill turns are always more fun.

This 0.9 stretch of road is so goddamn fun, hairpins and short straights included.

Looks like a blast! Maybe not for a race car that could run it in a minute, but for the normal guy, hell ya!

Fun little run I do every time I'm out that way...even when I'm in a rental. Not really a hill climb...but lots of up and downs. Tons of other fun roads around there too, but you've got to look our for debris, rangers, and old pickups.

This one's fun, if short. Bit of an odd one, not what I first thought of, but you have to take what fun you can get driving in London. Even though it's a residential area and only a thirty limit, it's all second gear, and so narrow that if you manage to break the limit you're braver than I am. What with weaving around the parked cars and so-on, you're not doing much driving straight. And yes, there is a Ferrari parked by the side of that very narrow road.
Streetview link should start you off in the right place, pointing the right direction. Go up Holly Hill, bear right at the fork (with the red postbox...) and keep going.
Also this one, which is more conventional. Short but sweet.
That's a map link, but I suggest walking it on streetview to get the full picture. Not normally so many cars parked there.
Ask me again when I'm in Trinidad and I'll have some better answers for you. The place is paradise for hillclimbs. Google up their North Coast Road and have a look.

Here's my contribution. Not so much of a hill climb course as a rally, but close enough:
The route actually starts only a mile or two from my house, and it's pretty awesome. 10 miles of constant elevation change, off-camber corners, and it even has a freaking dam crossing at the end, before you loop back and do it all over again.

This is a fun little road I have used to test changes to my cars and bikes in the past. It has some really good elevation changes, surface quality changes, and and tight corners from quick straights.

This is a fun route I have taken for some fun motorcycle riding. Last time I tried to do it we hit too much snow to go the whole way, but it was pretty fun having the road to our selves and dodging slow patches on the bikes.

This is a fun one I have taken for some motorcycle camping when I was younger. It goes into a park that has some hiking and such.

I wish I still had a bike to cruise on, a single lane seemed so much bigger.

Single lane with buildings right up the side, hillclimb paradise/suicide. I would like to see the cars and the roadways there. Looks like a bit more challenging.

This was what I used years ago. Don't live close enough to visit it often anymore.

Switch backs are always fun, except in winter. Is that the Pikes Peak road or another one?

Trinidad, you mean? The roads are fantastic, the other drivers not.

It seems weird to me how good roads are in some of the poorer countries, the roads in Fiji when I was there were great!

Yeah, I take my cars too... but for the last year my car has been in pieces so my bike has been getting extra time.

Well, to a large extent it's because a good driving road is the opposite of a good road. It's more expensive to build roads that are straighter and flatter - and quicker - so the poorer countries tend to have more old-style, follow-the-contours roads. Fun, but takes a lot longer to get anywhere.

It's getting there, the engine is finally back in place and shouldn't be coming back out. As soon as the final paint is done we can fab up the fuel tank and wire it. Shouldn't be much longer.

Actually in PA not CO, but looking at the map of the Pikes Peak road I can see where it does resemble some sections.
